Naples. “We have long been denouncing the absurd phenomenon of “serenades” in the streets. The latest case occurred between Saturday and Sunday in Bagnoli, with the neighborhood literally going haywire due to the performance of Alessio, who was called to “celebrate” the communion of two little girls. And so, while the singer was performing his songs in the middle of the street, traffic went haywire. Queues formed in a chain reaction and in the end the entire area was paralyzed. The street concert, among other things, continued, according to the accounts of those present, until two in the morning, in total disregard for the right to rest of those who live nearby and without any authorization.” This was stated by the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli commenting on the video posted on the Facebook page Bagnoli 80124. “Unfortunately, “serenades” represent a current problem, an unworthy and shameful habit, typical of uncivilized people who have no respect for others and who think they have the right to appropriate pieces of land for their parties whenever they want and like without any permit or authorization of any kind. There is no excuse for those who, in order to cheer themselves up, create inconvenience to an entire neighborhood, preventing among other things the rest of the neighborhood and free movement. The State must reappropriate the territory. This absurd habit must be opposed with the utmost vehemence by the police who seem not to notice the illegal and uncivilized drifts we are experiencing. Singers and “customers” must be severely sanctioned for illegal occupation of public land, noise and blocking traffic”.
