Naples. "Let's crack down on the uncivilized and crafty people who are taking advantage of the waste crisis to dump illegally. Piles of accumulated and uncollected garbage are reappearing in various parts of the city, with even more in the suburbs and provinces. This must not give uncivilized people who intend to exploit the crisis the right to unlawfully dump waste, even bulky and polluting waste. This is a widespread and despicable practice, favored by criminals who have yet to grasp the enormous damage this causes to the environment and the health of citizens. The Campania Green Party's Facebook page is available to anyone who wishes to report unsavory behavior. A dossier is ready and we are about to submit it, including the license plates of cars and trucks caught dumping illegally, so that we can track down the criminals who continue their ignorance with impunity." The announcement was made by Francesco Emilio Borrelli, regional councilor for the Greens, and Vincenzo Peretti, regional spokesperson for the Sole che ride party. "We're making life difficult by publishing the atrocities," Borrelli and Peretti added, "for all those who abandon old furniture, mattresses, cars, scooters, clothing, blankets, appliances, and much more on the streets. The Greens will reveal the faces and actions of these land predators so they can be held legally accountable."
