Yesterday morning, State Police officers from the Falchi Section of the Flying Squad and the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid arrested NB, a 22-year-old Gambian, responsible for the crimes of improper robbery, resisting arrest and aggravated assault. The officers, on duty to control the territory for the prevention of crimes in general, at around 12.00:22 while they were in transit on Via Firenze, were approached by a woman who reported a stranger who was attacking her sister, the owner of a shoe shop nearby. The officers promptly intervened and contacted the woman who reported a man, of whom she provided a description, who, while leaving the shop, had taken a shoe from the shelf of the displays and then fled. The woman tried to stop him and a fight ensued, which ended thanks to the intervention of some passers-by. In the meantime, the police were contacted by a motorcyclist in transit who reported that the same man was stopped at a postal ATM in via Ponte di Casanova. The officers, together with other patrols who arrived to assist, went to the scene and the 22-year-old, at the sight of the police officers, began to become enraged and to swear at the officers. The man was stopped not without difficulty, and taken to the Police Offices for the necessary checks, continuing to attack the patrols in operation, swearing and also attacking the operators of the Scientific Police to evade the photo signaling operations. The XNUMX-year-old was arrested and accompanied to the Waiting Rooms of the Police Headquarters at the disposal of the Judicial Authority awaiting the direct trial that will be celebrated today.
