Out of eighteen irregular workers, almost all in construction sites in the Naples area, five were also recipients of citizen's income. The task force that includes the INPS, the labor inspectorate and the special unit of the Carabinieri took to the field and, using the registry office, managed to identify the 'cheats'. The workers will now lose the benefit. Not only that, they have been reported to the judicial authorities and will have to answer criminally; the crime could be fraud against the State. "We are intensifying the controls - says the director of the INPS of Naples, Roberto Bafundi - and we are verifying that the network created between the different branches of the administration is working as a garrison of legality in the metropolitan territory".
