The emergency room employees of the Ospedale del Mare have been raising the alarm since this morning, due to the sickness caused by the unbearable heat in the city there has been a significant influx of patients and the chronic shortage of staff has caused a real bottleneck in visits. The staff has not been able to manage the arrival of patients and there have been people who have waited up to 4 hours before being seen even with yellow code. Many have been placed on stretchers without being able to receive assistance and those who could and were in condition have ultimately decided to go elsewhere. But the emergency room of the Ospedale del Mare is at risk of bursting. And yet it was created to solve the problems of the other city hospitals.
