The 2019 edition of the NTFI, directed by Ruggero Cappuccio, continues its programming with the show "Il Tempo orizzontale," part of the Festival's Special Projects section. The play, written by Francesco Ferrara and performed by students of the Bellini Teatro Factory, will be directed by Gabriele Russo and will explore the fast-paced nature of the modern world. On stage, thirteen drivers compete for the top spot in a surreal car race. The performance continues at 9:00 pm at the Teatro Politeama with the variations "6 & 9," two choreographies by Tao Ye of the Tao Dance Theatre, a Chinese company. "6 & 9" will be the final performance of the series, set to the music of acclaimed avant-garde composer Xiao He. The performance will conclude at 10:30 pm with the After-Festival event at the Giardio Romantico of Palazzo Reale, featuring a concert by Greta & The Wheels.
