Boscoreale. Extraordinary territorial control service carried out by the Carabinieri of the Boscoreale Station in the “Piano Napoli” district together with the Carabinieri Canine Unit of Sarno, those of the Helicopter Unit of Pontecagnano and the soldiers of the Campania Regiment and the Calabria Battalion. 69 people and 33 vehicles were checked and 19 fines were issued for various violations of the highway code. During the checks, the soldiers reported in a state of freedom 3 people held responsible for aggravated and continuous theft of electricity after having ascertained that the electrical systems of their homes were illegally connected to the public grid. Two 20-year-olds caught riding a motorcycle with a counterfeit frame were also reported for receiving stolen goods. A 32-year-old was instead reported to the AG for having violated the obligations of house arrest to which he was subjected. During the “high impact” service, a marijuana plantation consisting of 10 plants weighing a total of 2 and a half kilos was also discovered and seized. The Carabinieri finally reported 4 people for possession of narcotics for personal use and 6 foreign citizens found not to be in compliance with immigration regulations.
