UHe was officially considered indigent, and therefore had also obtained the citizen's income. In reality, he practiced usury and for this reason he was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Sala Consilina company. He is a 40-year-old criminal from Sala Consilina, stopped by the military after having received from his victim two hundred euros in cash, an instalment of a large usurious loan. From the investigations conducted by the military of the Arma, led by Captain Davide Acquaviva, it emerged that the criminal had lent to a 41-year-old former entrepreneur from Vallo di Diano. The Carabinieri of the Sala Consilina Company, at the end of a complex and intense investigative activity, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Lagonegro, arrested the man immediately after having received from a victim of usury the sum of 200 euros in cash, part of a larger usurious loan. The victim had reported that, in exchange for a loan of 1.000 euros, the loan shark would have demanded, in three months, the return of three times the sum (with a usurious rate of 300%). In the past, through the alienation of various assets belonging to him and his family members, the victim had already repaid the same loan shark a loan of 3.000 euros, which had increased over the course of a semester to approximately 10.000 euros. At the end of the ritual validation hearing, the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Lagonegro Court validated the arrest and, at the request of the Public Prosecutor, issued a precautionary custody order.
