A 49-year-old Neapolitan man was reported by the police of the San Ferdinando police station for the crime of cultivating narcotic substances. The police, following careful investigations, intervened at the man's home in via Tasso where, in the terraced garden belonging to him, he had started a thriving marijuana plantation. The officers uprooted 117 plants ranging in height from 20 cm to over two meters; all the plants were reached by a drip irrigation system and supported by fertilizer; the house had also housed a "nursery" of seedlings still in the germination phase. The police also found and seized eight glass jars with already dried marijuana in addition to all the cultivation material.
