He himself publicized the incident on social media after filing a complaint with the local Benemerita police station and obtaining a medical report from the hospital. The 31-year-old stated that three young men, possibly brothers, kidnapped him near his home at gunpoint. They took him to a plot of land in the Villa Literno countryside, tied him head to toe with a rope around his neck, and taped him to a tree trunk. The three assailants, who are under investigation, allegedly beat him to obtain a fake Instagram profile with a fake photo of one of the three wearing a wig. After beating him, according to the victim, with punches and slaps, the three decided to steal his cell phone and car keys and set him free, threatening to tie him to the car with rope and drag him around town if he contacted the police to report the incident. The young man, having just escaped from the grip of his three tormentors, reportedly immediately called the police for help and went to the hospital in Aversa to have his injuries assessed, including injuries to his limbs and face.
