At the Teatro Grande of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, on Thursday 27 June at 21 pm, the premiere of the show “Oedipus at Colonus” for the rewriting of Sophocles' work by Ruggero Cappuccio, directed by Rimas Tuminas, will be held. The show was produced by Teatro Stabile Naples-National Theater and Campania Festival Foundation-Naples Teatro Festival Italia. Scenes and costumes by Adomas Jacovskis, lighting design by Eugenius Sabaliauskas, music by Faustas Latenas, assistant director Gabriele Tuminaite and choir direction Tadas Sumskas with choreography Andzelica Cholina. The performers will be Claudio Di Palma, Oedipus; Marina Sorrenti, Antigone; Fulvio Cauteruccio, Creon; Franca Abategiovanni, Choir Leader; Giulio Cancelli, Polynices; Davide Paciolla, Theseus; Rossella Pugliese, Ismene. The choir will be performed by: Nicolo' Battista, Martina Carpino, Cinzia Cordella, Simona Fredella, Gianluca Merolli, Enzo Mirone, Francesca Morgante, Erika Pagan, Alessandra Roca, Piera Russo, Lorenzo Scalzo.
