The "Per sempre Scugnizzo... in Rosa" Award will be presented at a press conference. On Wednesday, June 12th, in the Sala Giunta of Palazzo San Giacomo (11:30 a.m.), with a speech by Councilor for Social Policies Roberta Gaeta, the fifth edition of the "Per sempre Scugnizzo... in Rosa" Award will be presented. It will be held in Naples on June 15th at 9:00 a.m. at the Antica Biblioteca Monumentale dell'Ospedale dell'Annunziata. This year, the "Per sempre Scugnizzo... in Rosa" Award is in its fifth year. Since its inception, this award, organized by the "La Voce degli Ultimi" Association in collaboration with the website "persemprenapoli.it," will be presented by journalist Massimiliano Murolo. Its purpose is to recognize women, whether Neapolitan by birth or not, who have overcome life's difficulties and achieved brilliant goals with vivacity and sagacity—typical characteristics of the Scugnizzo—and have established themselves in their professional fields. Thus, they set an example for other women to constantly improve and ethically interpret their "social role." Over the years, this award, whose ceremony is traditionally held in the Historical Library of the Monumental Complex of the Annunziata Hospital in Naples, has been presented to women who have distinguished themselves in the fields of medicine, entrepreneurship, law enforcement, culture, management, publishing, sports, social work, and entertainment. These include: the Prefect of Naples Carmela Pagano, the President of the Juvenile Court of Naples Maria de Luzenberger, Lidia Schapirer of the Jewish Community of Naples, Valentina de Luca of the CNR Institute of Biochemistry, world-record freediver Mariafelicia Carraturo, sports journalist Titti Improta, and Graziella Arlomede of the Naples DDA. This year's recipients include: School – Headmaster of the Morano Institute of Caivano Professor Eugenia Carfora; New Enterprise – Maria Sole Corona (blogger Teresanna Pugliese) and street artist "Roxy in the Box"; Social – Imma Pastena, President of the "Arcobaleno della Vita" Association; Entertainment – Rosa Chiod
