They disembarked in Arbatax on the Tirrenia ferry from Civitavecchia and, given their nervousness at the controls, were subjected to more stringent checks by the Border Police. The Nigerian couple lives together in Sassari and both are applicants for international protection. After their arrest, the two were transferred to the Ut prison in Cagliari.
