The demolition of illegal structures, subject to final judgments, located in the Province of Casetta, continues unabated. This area is devastated by constructions constructed in violation of urban planning regulations, tirelessly and with utmost commitment to reaffirming legality. This morning, demolition began on two illegal buildings in the Municipality of Castel Volturno. The first illegal structure, located in the Municipality of Castel Volturno, at Via Maroncelli No. 7, in the area "Via Nuova per Capua Strada Provinciale No. 264." The entire structure is built in an area with severe hydrogeological instability, subject to various restrictions: landscape, environmental, hydrogeological, seismic, and building-safety as per the municipal master plan. The second structure, however, was also built in the municipality of Castel Volturno, on via Baccio da Montelupo snc. The aforementioned structure was also built in an area with severe hydrogeological instability covered by landscape, environmental, hydrogeological, seismic and non-buildable constraints. "The Public Prosecutor's Office," the statement states, "is therefore continuing its necessary demolition of illegal buildings, thereby restoring the integrity of the territory. To this end, with the aim of reaffirming the principles of legality and justice in a province where illegality has long been practiced and fueled, the Demolition Office has been reorganized and strengthened, with its own personnel from the Judicial Police Section – Forestry Carabinieri Unit – established within this Public Prosecutor's Office. This Office will coordinate the procedures for further demolitions of illegal structures in the Province of Casetta. Demolition activities, in reality, raise awareness among communities about more appropriate and respectful land use, deducing that illegal building is being thoroughly fought and, above all, that it is not cost-effective. Furthermore, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, in identifying the illegal structures to be demolished, uses priority criteria of objective and predetermined nature, which do not respect only chronological order, but take into account the balance of constitutionally relevant goods and interests, such as the good and value of the environment, the protection of the territory, substantial equality, fairness, reasonableness and social solidarity, as well as the function of property".
