An initiative that shows the desire of citizens to free themselves from this condition of discomfort that brings to mind one of the darkest periods in the recent history of Naples”. This is what the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli and the spokesperson of Sole che Ride in Campania Vincenzo Peretti say. “Our monitoring continues, also thanks to the dozens of reports that are arriving on the Facebook page of the Greens. Our commitment in the institutional offices is constant, our goal is to bring the situation back to normal in Naples and the province. The city, among other things, is about to host the Universiade. Beyond the discomfort experienced by citizens, there is potential damage to the city's image that it absolutely cannot afford after all the effort it has put into organizing the event in the best possible way. In any case, the acts of hooliganism and incivility that have occurred in the last few hours remain intolerable. We consider unjustifiable, for example, what happened in Pianura where, near the library, uncivilized people dumped waste on the roadway".
