“We continue to receive dozens of reports of vehicles transporting goods in a dangerous manner. The cases are among the most disparate, from vans carrying cars to scooters overloaded with boxes. And the reckless have no problem driving even state roads and highways in these conditions, even at high speed. The latest report in chronological order was sent to us by a citizen who, driving along the A3 highway at night, noticed a van with the tailgate open. The vehicle could have lost its load at any moment, causing an accident. We have sent a dossier to the traffic police, attaching the cases that have been made known to us”. The complaint comes from the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli and the host of “La Radiazza” on Radio Marte Gianni Simioli. “Just a few days ago a girl lost her life on the median axle after being hit by the load lost by a truck that was traveling in the opposite direction. We wonder how many more tragedies we will have to count before people begin to understand that transporting goods in a dangerous way can put their lives and the lives of others at risk."
