UA fraud against INPS for approximately 830 thousand euros was discovered by the financial police of the Castrovillari Company, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office led by Eugenio Facciolla, who reported 195 false agricultural workers and the two owners of a company. The company presented company and quarterly reports to the Social Security Institute where it indicated the fictitious management of agricultural land, as well as the certification of employment of workers, which never occurred, to allow the undue collection of unemployment, sickness and maternity benefits. During the investigations, coordinated by the prosecutor Antonino Iannotta and carried out with the collaboration of the INPS offices of Cosenza and Castrovillari, the financial police ascertained that the owner of the land had not granted the owners of the agricultural company the funds for the cultivations on rent. 25 thousand working days never carried out emerged.
