The Correale Museum is also paying homage to Leonardo da Vinci, 500 years after his death, with a free, private event to be held on Friday, June 14th at 17:30 PM. "An Evening at the Museum" is the cinematic title of the special event that Banca Widiba, in collaboration with the Treccani Campania Institute and Gennaro Penza, General Director for Campania, has organized at the Sorrento museum, chaired by Gaetano Mauro and directed by Filippo Merola. "It will be an event promoting the local culture," said Widiba consultant Giuseppe De Maio, "a guided tour of the archaeological, pictorial, historical, and landscape beauties of the Correale Museum, exploring our origins and traditions. The Treccani Encyclopedia, an emblem of Italian culture and therefore the ideal partner for this initiative, will accompany us through the halls of the Correale Museum and will present each accredited guest with a print by the master Leonardo Da Vinci, 500 years since his death this year."
The event, completely free, has limited places to ensure the good usability of the guided tour. It is therefore advisable to book in advance by writing to the mobile number: 348.42.02.531
