Lin Puglia could welcome Campania citizens in the event of evacuation of areas at risk of volcanic eruption. This was announced by the vice president of the Puglia Region, Antonio Nunziante, on the sidelines of the presentation of the national civil protection meeting that will be held in San Giovanni Rotondo from tomorrow to June 16. “On June 19,” Nunziante announced, “we will sign a protocol in Naples for twinning with the Campania Region that provides for post-evacuation reception of areas at risk of volcanic eruption. In the event of an eruption of Vesuvius, that is, in the neighboring regions and in particular in Puglia,” he explained, “there is a project to welcome displaced people from those territories.”
