Voghera Roots & Blues is born and it does so in the fantastic setting of the Cowboys' Guest Ranch, located on the outskirts of Voghera (PV), famous for its activities dedicated to western-style horse riding and for the most popular Country Festival in all of Italy.
Thanks to the artistic direction of AZ Blues, in collaboration with La Parrocchia del Blues, this event is starting, which aims to be an annual event for all fans of overseas music and which will be added to the famous Country Festival now in its 12th edition. This first edition will be held on 28-29-30 June 2019, with non-stop music, and includes live shows from afternoon to evening, shows and dances, excellent cuisine, many stands with material related to blues and roots music, the legendary Store where you can find everything you need to be a real cowboy and - on Sunday - the great appointment with Teleraduno, the event related to the famous Fender guitar.
And there will also be a children's area where they can play immersed in the nature of a typical American farm.
The program of this first edition features great protagonists of Italian roots and blues music, first of all the Treves Blues Band, with the legendary “Puma di Lambrate” and its #70inblues tour that will be the great protagonist of Saturday night, while on Friday, again on the large stage of the PalaTexas, it will be the Mandolin' Brothers who will celebrate 40 years of career together with the many friends present to celebrate. Also on the main stage in the large arena where the rodeos take place, for the occasion used as a show and exhibition area, there will be space for Grace Quaranta Band on Friday and the musical revelation of the moment, the Gospel Book Revisited on Saturday night.
But during the days of Saturday and Sunday it will be a big party starting in the morning at 11,00:XNUMX with the first shows in the Saloon until the evening when everything will focus on the shows of the PalaTexas. We will also be able to attend a cooking lesson with the Bayou Moonshiners of Stephanie Océan Ghizzoni and Max Lazzarin who will accompany us to New Orleans to discover the real recipe, prepared live in front of the spectators, of the Jambalaya, which we will then be able to taste to the notes of this fantastic duo.
Following on the saloon stage will be artists of the calibre of Ciosi and his fantastic flatpicking guitar, Mora & Bronski and their strong and pop blues, Tiz Galli with Marcus Tondo offering us classic blues, while BB Chris & His One Man Band will take us back to those fascinating 30s Mississippi.
But that's not all, because in the arena you can also dance thanks to Kitchen Swing Live & Blues Dance who will set Saturday afternoon alight. On Sunday there will be space for TeleRaduno, the now well-known event dedicated to the famous Fender guitar and its artisanal replicas. An entire day to learn about, touch, try and buy accessories or models of fine luthiery and be able to watch the performances of Chicken Voodoo and Daniele Tenca, someone who knows what a Telecaster is. Entrance to the entire area and the shows costs €5,00 for Friday | €15,00 for Saturday | €10,00 for Sunday only, while the 3-day package costs €20,00.
