The initiative “National Energy Efficiency Fund”, established by the Ministry of Economic Development. This is a fund that aims to support all energy efficiency interventions intended for public buildings and infrastructures and financed by the Public Administration, ESCOs and companies in the sector.

We are talking about a fund of over 310 million euros, which will mobilize, according to some forecasts, investments in the energy sector equal to over 1,7 billion euros.

The objective of the project established by the Government is quickly stated: to increasingly mobilize investments in energy efficiency in order to achieve the national objectives previously set and foreseen by the Kyoto Protocol.

FNEE: 310 million euros to invest

It was established in 2017 with a Ministerial Decree, wanted by the Ministry of Economic Development. Now, the FNEE (National Fund for Energy Efficiency) has started again on May 21st. The aim of this fund is to increasingly support Energy Efficiency actions of companies and Public Administration on production plants and processes. But what does this mean exactly? Well, in other words, the objectives of the fund are:

  • Reducing energy consumption in industrial processes
  • Promote the implementation of new heating networks
  • Making public services related to energy, such as street lighting, more efficient;
  • Implement an energy requalification of buildings.

The FNEE is mainly aimed, as previously mentioned, at companies, ESCOs (Energy Service Companies) but also Public Administration. Among other things, it is important to specify that the process of requesting the fund works through front office. You can apply from May 21st onwards but there are no rankings for accessing the money. Applications are evaluated only in chronological order and arrival.

It is also important to underline that this is not a small fund but over 310 million euros, divided into 185 million issued this year and another 125 resulting from an additional allocation in 2020.

Energy = development of photovoltaics

When talking about investments in Energy Efficiency, we cannot fail to mention one of the best tools to obtain more and more clean energy in your home: the photovoltaic system, a system that produces electricity by exploiting the natural rays of the Sun. A new, alternative and increasingly widespread way to obtain more and more electricity in your home while saving considerably on your bill.

It is useful to remember that, to obtain a good photovoltaic system, it is necessary to rely on professionals in the sector. An example is the company Ecotecnogroup, which deals not only with the installation of photovoltaic systems but also with solar thermal systems. What differentiates Ecotecno Group from all the other companies that deal with photovoltaic systems is their experience (over 25 years) and professionalism. An example is the assistance that is guaranteed both before and after installation (an advantage of no small importance in this case).

Among other things, Ecotecno Group has also decided to meet the needs of its customers by promoting the offer Formula 25 e Formula 25 PlusThese are offers that are in turn divided according to the needs of the clients to allow them to enjoy the best possible experience.

Altair Formula 25, for example, is one of the many solutions designed for private individuals and involves the installation of a 3,200 kWp system at 80 euros per month capable of providing a 50% saving to a home; while Formula 25 Altair Plus adds to the system a series of guarantees and services, a storage battery, an EPS system in case of blackout and 1500 kw of energy component per year free forever, allowing you to achieve energy independence.

In short, we are talking about a super offer that allows every consumer to have their say regarding the "Energy Efficiency of their home", even without using the National Fund for Energy Efficiency established by the Ministry of Economic Development.
