The Casalesi boss, Salvatore Lionetti o' zingarone, arrested in Emilia

This morning, officers from the Lucca Police Headquarters' Flying Squad arrested Salvatore Lionetti, aka 'O Zingarone, 42, originally from San Cipriano d'Aversa and resident in Castelfranco Emilia, following a concurrent sentence execution order issued by the Attorney General's Office at the Bologna Court of Appeal. The man, who has been imprisoned and is linked to the Casalesi Camorra clan, was arrested while in Lucca. Investigations are underway to determine the reasons for his presence in the Tuscan city. The order includes seven final convictions for various crimes, ranging from receiving stolen goods, possession of narcotics, possession of weapons, and extortion aggravated by mafia methods. The crimes occurred in the Castelfranco Emilia, Modena, and Pavullo Frignano areas between 2009 and 2017. Salvatore Lionetti, known as 'O Zingarone, is serving a definitive sentence of 12 years, 5 months, and 23 days in prison and must pay a €10 fine.
