Capri. In the late afternoon of Saturday, June 29, the State Police officers of the Capri Police Station, assisted by canine units, arrested MVT, a 19-year-old English citizen, responsible for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing. During a control operation in the Anacapri area, the officers' attention was captured by a young man who, at the sight of the police, showed a suspicious attitude.
The personal search, extended to the home, allowed to find inside a game box 13 heat-sealed cellophane packages containing a green herbaceous substance and the sum of 320 euros in banknotes of different denominations; furthermore in a jar of hair gelatine other green herbaceous substance was found, 2 tobacco grinders, a precision scale, 3 white food bags and 6 green biodegradable bags. The narcotic substance, analyzed by the drug test, turned out to be marijuana for a total weight of approximately 64 grams. The young man was arrested, the narcotic, the money and the other objects found were seized and made available to the judicial authority who ordered house arrest.
