“Acquitted because the fact does not exist”. Thus ended the judicial odyssey that began ten years ago for Giorgio Magliocca, the current president of the Province of CASERTA and mayor of Pignataro Maggiore. Accused of forgery of a public document together with seven other administrators (members of the municipal council) because they were involved in the trial on the speed cameras installed in the municipality of Pignataro. This morning, Judge Rosetta Stravino of the court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere fully acquitted everyone. Magliocca was subsequently arrested on charges of external complicity for facts contemporary to this affair but was also fully acquitted of those charges.
