Dozens of Neapolitans showed up today at the ADMO gazebos in Piazzale Tecchio, in the Furorigrotta neighborhood, following an appeal in the newspapers and on social media by Michele Bisceglia, father of 6-year-old Diana, who suffers from a rare disease and is seeking a bone marrow donor. Despite the heat, this outpouring of solidarity, as in other similar cases, once again attracted many young people between the ages of 18 and 35 to undergo saliva swab testing to determine compatibility with Diana or other children with rare diseases. Among the potential donors were young members of the Universiade staff who traveled from the nearby headquarters located at the Mostra d'Oltremare.
