There is still no news of the skipper from Salerno, Rocco Acocella, who disappeared in the Caribbean Sea while making a solo crossing on his boat. The 32-year-old set sail on a trimaran from Saint Martin, in the French Antilles, on June 17. He was supposed to arrive between June 28 and 29 in the Colombian port of Barranquilla. From there he was supposed to reach Ecuador and act as a guide for a group of young tourists on behalf of an international tour operator. Acocella, in fact, is a highly sought-after guide by tour companies around the world. From what we learn from his family, "I am in constant contact with the Farnesina, which has taken action. They reiterated to us - explains a relative - that for now there is no useful information on the matter, but at the same time they assured us that the entire area is being patrolled in search of Rocco".
