Naples. The judge arrested as part of Operation San Gennaro is assigned to the Naples court and is the investigating judge of Ischia. Alberto Capuano was arrested as part of an anti-corruption investigation coordinated by the Rome prosecutor's office, which allegedly revealed links to the Camorra. The 60-year-old magistrate is currently serving at the Naples court's branch on the island of Ischia. Judge Capuano had previously been at the center of an investigation, but his case was dismissed after a few years. The alleged crime against him was corruption: investigators accused him of having provided assistance to well-known businessmen, the Ragosta family, in exchange for favors. However, the case was dismissed by the Rome investigating judge at the request of the Rome prosecutor's office.
