The first interview was conducted using the Skype for Business platform at the Germana Stefanini Rebibbia women's prison in Rome. It took place on July 3, from 13:15 PM to 14:15 PM, and an Italian inmate benefited from it, allowing her relatives living in Naples to video call for an hour. The Ministry of Justice announced the following: "The interview took place in the locations and according to the procedures established by the Department of Penitentiary Administration's circular from last January. Everything went smoothly in every respect, and no issues related to technical or connection anomalies were encountered. In the coming days, the first interviews with family members living abroad will be tested via video calls within Europe and internationally."
