Un nuovo ponte culturale parte da Napoli e a costruirlo è ancora una volta la band capitanata da Dario Sansone. Dopo le collaborazioni con la francese Pauline Croze, con gli spagnoli La Pegatina e con gli statunitensi Black Noyze i Foja ritornano a collaborare con l’artista canadese Shaun Ferguson con il quale si erano esibiti dal vivo in occasione di un secret concert il 14 febbraio scorso, giorno di San Valentino. Infatti il raffinato singer-songwriter e virtuoso del violoncello, suonato come una chitarra-basso; durante il suo soggiorno napoletano ha registrato con i Foja un nuovo brano.
The song titled “Ensemble (Tutt 'e Duje)” is available from today on all digital stores while on the band's YouTube channel you can listen to and watch the video-single recorded during the recording sessions of the song that took place in the historic Auditorium900 studio (Phonotype records) in Naples. The videoclip was directed by Tato Strino and Yulan Morra. “Ensemble (Tutt 'e Duje)” is the soundtrack that will take Foja and Shaun Ferguson around Italy and subsequently on a long Canadian tour between October and November.

After touring Europe far and wide, and having looked out over the States, it's time to cross Canada for a whole month, a country that is proving to be attentive to musical culture and at the forefront of artistic exchange. The recording of Ensemble (Tutt'e duje) with the singer-songwriter Shaun Ferguson was a natural and intense experience for us, made without overdubs, live respecting the meeting between our two musical worlds, bringing to light another piece of our project of musical contamination that starts from our Neapolitan roots.
Researching and weaving a network of international collaborations, aiming to merge Neapolitan culture with that of other peoples with the strength of passion in common; this is the artistic goal of the Neapolitan combo that is increasingly convinced that through exchange it is possible to find new stimuli; how to implement a process of internationalization of the current sound produced in Naples, an increasingly explosive city and a crossroads of races and traditions.”
The Italian tour will start from Taurasi (Avellino) and will lead Foja to share the stage with their Roman friends from Il Muro del Canto at the Parco Tittoni in Desio (MB): the two groups will meet again at the Hello Folks World Session concert series in an evening that promises to be high-adrenaline. The following days Dario Sansone & co. will continue the tour in Turin and Siena – always in the company of Shaun Ferguson – before leaving for Canada.
