They ran the drug dealing square in Maddaloni: 11 convictions and two acquittals

Eleven convictions and two acquittals. This is the verdict handed down by the Naples Court of Appeals for a group of 14 people accused of drug dealing in Maddaloni.
The judges of the Third Section of the Parthenopean Court have re-determined the sentence pronounced in the first instance by the preliminary hearing judge Rossi of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere court and sentenced: Antonietta Ciardiello to 7 years; Salvatore Cioffi to 1 year and 4 months (suspended sentence); Michele Di Caprio to 6 months, acquitting him for another crime already judged with another sentence and granting the benefit of the continuation of the sentence; Nicola Loffredo to 10 years and 6 months; Valerya Petrova Markova to 2 years; Giuseppe Martino to 9 years and 6 months; Ciro Micillo to 6 years and 8 months; Francesco Pisanti to 6 months to be added in continuation with another sentence of conviction (with a total sentence of 5 years); Maria Rosaria Vitale to 1 year and 4 months. The sentence of Domenico Loffredo and Michele Cerreto was confirmed. Giovanni Maiello and Francesco Merola were acquitted. Decision of no case to answer for another defendant who died during the appeal trial.
The defendants were charged, to varying degrees, with involvement in a mafia-style criminal association, multiple extortionate conducts, crimes relating to weapons, criminal association aimed at the purchase, possession and dealing of narcotics; these crimes were aggravated by the aim of facilitating the Belforte Camorra clan.
