Saturday 13 July at 21.30:700 pm the band returns to the courtyard of Maschio Angioino with “Paese mio bello – L'Italia che cantava e canta”. Villanelle, XNUMXth century Neapolitan, the singer-songwriter, and many excursions to France, Mexico, Veneto, Sicily.
The bel canto atelier has its home here. The artisans of music are Lello Giulivo, Gianni Lamagna, Anna Spagnuolo, Patrizia Spinosi. The show is “Paese mio bello – L'Italia che cantava e canta”, a concert for four voices and the guitars of Michele Bonè and Paolo Propoli, to sing Naples and beyond. After forty years the protagonists meet again, like another Summer in Naples, the first, again in that Maschio Angioino, an extraordinary natural setting for memorable events. Villanelle, the 700th century Neapolitan and the songs of the 40s and 50s. On stage in the Summer in Naples program, Saturday 13 July at 21 pm at Maschio Angioino by the association Di musica in musica. For forty years this group has been building a path of musical research that has within it a thousand souls that are difficult to gather in a single score. There are the common beginnings with Roberto De Simone and a world of notes also linked to the most visceral history, but then this magma expands and goes beyond. The obligatory, but not obvious, stop of the Neapolitan root, to also incorporate worlds that seem very far away, such as the singer-songwriter, the popular international one, France. And then the Veneto, Sicily. And if there is a common breath it is Paris. The breadth of the horizon recalls the Parisian boulevards, then you come across the hat of a Mexican, in the "rude" irony of a traditional Sicilian song. But there is much, much more in this atelier with soft lights that on stage always offers a scenography of colorful flowers. Elegance, strength, sometimes yearning, emotion, laughter, fun. The music enchants and entertains, dreams and squeezes the heart in a half voice, or spreads in a predominant and, at the same time, dramatic high note. My beautiful country is all this, but it is so much more. And the hope, the wish is that a breeze accompanies words and notes and carries them towards the sea, as a tribute of gratitude to mother Partenope, so that she can make a small gift of this fragile and strong-willed city, to the rest of the world, on the other side of the waves.
