Businessman originally from Cilento murdered in Venezuela. He was killed with clubs in the head, while he was sleeping, in his apartment in Bello Monte, in the municipality of Baruta, a few kilometers from Caracas.
The body of Eduardo Ayala, 58, originally from Marina di Camerota, was found by the Venezuelan police in a pool of blood, in the bedroom, with a smashed skull and bruises all over his body. A brutal murder, which occurred in the middle of the night.
According to an initial reconstruction by local investigators, it could have been a murder for the purpose of robbery but, given the victim's anti-Maduro stance, it could also have been a political vendetta.
