With the Open Festival III Edition Project, Bazzarra wins the expression of interest POC 2014 – 2020 Action 3, National and International Events, of the Municipality of Ercolano.
Presenting a rich program of events and activities that strengthen the knowledge of Campania on the Italian and foreign tourist market, through the valorization of the peculiarities and elements of attraction present in the territory of Ercolano, the Bazzarra was judged positively by the commission according to the evaluation criteria, resulting first in the ranking.
Artistic director Gigi Di Luca was enthusiastic and satisfied with the result: “I am very happy that La Bazzarra has once again won an expression of interest with the Open Festival Project, as already happened in 2017 with the Municipality of Torre del Greco. Open Festival enriches the calendar of events that I have been curating for years, such as the Ethnos Festival and Divino Jazz Festival. Expressions of interest are welcome, which give the opportunity to all those who possess the professional requirements to participate as long as the results of the ranking are respected. I am very sorry, however, that the Municipality of Torre del Greco has not presented any project to the Campania Region, for the Poc and that above all it does not give continuity and trust to projects that I have conceived and directed despite having been enormously successful, such as Devozioni, which among other things was the only concrete proposal that arrived this year to the municipality, in the absence of an expression of interest that I had hoped there would be”.
