Luperto, mister Ancelotti is fundamental for him

“I am happy and enthusiastic to have stayed at Napoli. I owe a lot to Ancelotti”. This is how Sebastiano Luperto, a young Napoli defender, conveys his emotions to Radio Kiss Kiss after the first days of training camp in Dimaro. “There are many young players in Trentino this year and we are working with great intensity. I am happy to be here and to be able to continue my journey in blue”, he adds. On the impact with Ancelotti, Luperto says: “Mister Ancelotti gave me space last year and was true to his word when he said he wanted me to confirm. Working with him is a unique experience. He has won everything both as a player and as a coach, he knows how to give you all the right instructions and then on a human level he is an exceptional person”. On how the defensive phase changes with Manolas, Luperto says: “We have a formidable central pair. I have grown a lot alongside Albiol, now I will learn a lot from Manolas. Together with Koulibaly I think we are facing one of the strongest pairs around and they will allow us to defend well but also to be able to propose ourselves with greater confidence in the offensive phase”. Finally, on the other new acquisition in defence, Di Lorenzo at Empoli, Luperto knows him well: “I played with Giovanni and I must say that he is physically very strong, it is very difficult to overcome him in one-on-one. Then he also developed the progression, he scored several times with Empoli and I think he is ready for the big leap”
