Capri. Peppino di Capri has suffered a grave loss. His wife, Giuliana Gagliardi, has died at the age of 68 from an incurable disease. Her death was in Naples. The announcement was made by his grief-stricken family, the artist, his sons Edoardo and Dario, and their closest friends. The funeral will be held tomorrow in the former Cathedral of Santo Stefano in Piazzetta, Capri, when Giuliana will arrive for the last time from Naples aboard one of the ferries connecting the mainland to the azure island.
