Since 1991, 62 local administrations have been disbanded more than once due to infiltration and influence by organized crime. This is what emerges from Avviso Pubblico's latest report, "The Dissolution of Municipalities for Mafia Influence. Analysis and Proposals," presented today in Rome. Of these 62 administrations, 45 have been disbanded twice, while 17 have been disbanded three times. These are the municipalities of Arzano (disbanded in 2008, 2015, and 2019); Briatico (2003, 2012, 2018); Casal di Principe (1991, 1996, 2012); Casapesenna (1991, 1996, 2012); Gioia Tauro (1993, 2008, 2017); Grazzanise (1992, 1998, 2013); Lamezia Terme (1991, 2002, 2017, the latter later annulled); Marano di Napoli (1991, 2004, later annulled, 2016); Melito di Porto Salvo (1991, 1996, 2013); Misilmeri (1992, 2003, 2012); Nicotera (2005, 2010, 2016); Plati' (2006, 2012, 2018); Roccaforte del Greco (1996, 2003, 2011); San Cipriano d'Aversa (1992, 2008, later annulled, 2012); San Ferdinando (1992, 2009, 2014); San Gennaro Vesuviano (2001, 2006, then cancelled, 2018); Taurianova (91, 2009, 2013).
