The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella has awarded Maestro Roberto De Simone the honor of “Cavaliere di Gran Croce”. The delivery of the parchment and the pin took place yesterday evening at the Museum and Royal Wood of Capodimonte before the start of the choral symphonic concert with music by Mozart, De Leva and De Simone himself on the verses of the famous serenade A Capemonte by Salvatore di Giacomo. For the delivery of the honor of Cavaliere di Gran Croce to Maestro Roberto De Simone, Prof. Alessandro Pagliara, professor of Roman History at the University of Parma, was delegated by the Quirinale. At his side are the director of the Capodimonte Museum Sylvain Bellenger, Elsa Evangelista former director of the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella and Alessandro De Simone, nephew of the Maestro and conductor of the concert which will be repeated today at 19.30:XNUMX pm on the Belvedere and in the Courtyards of Capodimonte.
