The docking in the port of Lampedusa late yesterday evening for the ship Alex, which is part of Mediterranea Saving Humans, did not end with the disembarkation of all 41 shipwrecked people on board. Aside from the tug of war between the Ministry of the Interior and NGOs, it is at the political level that the greatest consequences of the migrant affair are being recorded. The words spoken, also yesterday evening, by Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini who denounced Di “feeling politically alone”, asking for the support of the Ministers of Defense and Economy, in fact, triggered reactions from government allies. The voice of the Five Star Movement was raised already in the morning from the blog of the Stars with a clear denunciation: “We are in a big Truman Show, where everyone plays the part of an extra: the good ones or presumed such, the bad ones or presumed such. And the Italians are suffering this gigantic mockery. The NGOs, on the other hand, only draw profit and publicity from this stage”. A voice that then became even louder through the statements of the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Manlio Di Stefano. The M5S representative wrote harsh words on his Facebook page against the head of the Viminale: “In an attempt to hide the evidence, yesterday someone went so far as to directly attack their own government colleagues, stumbling, once again, into one gaffe after another. The Navy was asked to intervene in Italian waters, but it is the Guardia di Finanza that carries out the functions of sea police. Therefore the Ministry of Economy, not the Defense. People complained about not having received any support, but it was the Viminale – Di Stefano remarked – that refused the Defense proposal to transfer the migrants to Malta and on this we expect explanations”. But Di Stefano went even further: "You see, the problem is always the same: if you want to do everything by yourself and you never pass the ball, if you keep your gaze fixed on the ground without ever noticing your teammates, you never get to the goal. If you feel like Maradona - he was the attack - and then you play like an out of shape Higuain, it's a serious problem, because the country is at stake. You can't say - he attacked - that it's always the other people's fault".
