Naples. Raffaele Del Giudice, Naples City Councilor for the Environment, spoke about the arrest of Antonio Di Dio, the councilor for the 10th Municipality (Fuorigrotta-Bagnoli), who is implicated in the Rome Prosecutor's Office investigation into alleged corruption and ties to the Camorra. Antonio Di Dio was elected in 2016 on the "Solo Napoli" list, named after the movement led by Del Giudice, then deputy mayor of the city. "I'm surprised and very sorry," the councilor told Adnkronos. "Di Dio left the majority over a year and a half ago. He was very active in volunteer work, involved in cleanup activities such as pruning and grass cutting. Our relationship with him," Del Giudice clarified, "was tied to these initiatives."
