Naples. The Campania Region's Employment Plan has officially launched, initially calling for the hiring of 3 people out of a total of approximately 10. "By October, 3 Campanians will be able to enter the workforce, which means we will change the lives of 3 people," said Campania Governor Vincenzo De Luca, who presented the project this morning. In just twelve hours, several thousand candidates have already registered on the platform. "There are 10 operational units in the public administration." The deadline for registration is August 8th. There will be pre-selections and written tests, and the aim is to complete the competition by late September or early October, allowing the 3 Campanians to begin their work experience in October. There will be no age limit for participating, and both high school and college graduates are eligible. To date, 282 organizations, including 166 municipalities, have signed up. They will be employed in a wide variety of areas: from administration to IT systems, to marketing and communications. "These aren't generic profiles," De Luca explained to mayors and unions, "but a real need. This plan stems from a fact-finding survey of the staffing gaps that would arise in public institutions within three years. The National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI) provided us with this data, and we've achieved a miracle. We're rejuvenating and enhancing the public administration, a historic step."
