On July 11th, in Baia, there will be a fun event to promote the upcoming film, Napoli Eden, born from an idea by the artist Annalaura di Luggo, directed by Bruno Colella, with photography by Blasco Giurato and music by Eugenio Bennato.
This auteur film, submitted to the Venice film competition, aims to tell a different Naples than the one usually described.
A festive evening that will have as its format the playfulness and popular traditions of the city of Naples that will be exalted by the participants in the evening called to interpret, for their dress code, one of the numbers of the smorfia of their choice.
The scenography of the event will be some of the gigantic aluminum works created by the artist Annalaura di Luggo for Napoli Eden, the widespread site-specific created in four squares of the city of Naples, which with the four large installations (Trìunphus, Pỳramid, Gèminus, Harmònia) artistically illuminated the city during the last Christmas holidays.
In particular, the large luminous arch (Trìunphus) and Geminus, the parallelepiped with the eyes of some of the film's protagonists, will be installed.
The event will be enlivened by the piano bar of Agostino Penna with a five-piece band supported by the entertainer Rodolfo Bernabo'. During the evening the trailer of the film will be screened and an intro by Tatatu, holder of the Avod rights of the film.
There will also be a unique fashion show featuring 15 recycled aluminum sculpture dresses made by students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome directed by Graziella Pera, who also made the dress for the hosts, Annalaura and Olindo Preziosi.
Guests of the evening included director Bruno Colella, Eugenio Bennato, Andrea Iervolino, Blasco Giurato, Francesco Pingitore, Graziella Pera, Patrizio Rispo, Paolino Cantalupo, Francesco Gallo Mazzeo, as well as many other prominent figures from the world of culture, entertainment, cinema and fashion.
