Caserta. He first threatened suicide, after not eating for a week because he had no money to buy food, then in the evening he made it known that he was willing to sell a kidney to get money to live. And so the appeal of Antonino Campanile from Recale, an employee of a well-known Caserta television company, already at the center of other investigations and seizures by the judiciary, was welcomed on social media by the television editor Pino Grazioli who offered to help him by taking him to dinner and launching another appeal on social media to help him. “After eight years of humiliating and underpaid work,” Campanile explained, “I was fired without my rights being recognized. I am alone in the world and I don’t know how to go on. I hope there is someone willing to give me a hand because in the conditions I find myself in, either I commit an ill-advised act or I will be forced to sell a kidney to live.”
