Friendly, sociable, with the lively and disenchanted look typical of her 13 years, Emily Rinaldi, from Ceccano, a town in the province of Frosinone, is already a familiar face on national television. Her first single, "Polvere," will be released on July 15th, with a national launch, although she began her career as an actress. She made her big-screen debut in 2015, in prime time on Canale 5 in the film "Il Camionista," starring Giorgio Tirabassi and Simona Borioni. A dramatic film that tackles social issues, she performed with great ease and composure on set. But Emily has always loved singing. "Tra sogno e realtà," "Sanremo Junior," and "Iband" are just a few of the talent shows that officially cemented her passion: singing. "She sings at all hours, from morning to night," says her father Massimo. "She hasn't lost her simplicity. She's a studious daughter, she gives me satisfaction, and she's a good eater. In everyday life, she's a simple girl; she interacts with her peers, maintaining the naiveté of her years, but when she gets on stage and has a microphone in front of her, she doesn't sing, she performs like a woman." And today, her first album with the Royal Music label; a project curated by Maestro Vincenzo Sorrentino, which will allow her to become known to the general public as a singer as well. "Polvere" (Polvere) is a song that strongly evokes the purest emotions of young people approaching love. The dreamy mood of young girls, of their first heartbeats, of the fears and disappointments they've experienced. Disappointments that, when the love breaks, everything seems insurmountable, and enthusiasm gives way to awareness, that awareness of regaining one's "lost freedom," as the song's lyrics suggest. The music video, shot in Naples, serves as the backdrop for close-ups of Emily, who emerges forcefully and with all the grit that distinguishes her.
