Salerno. Two foreigners were arrested in Pastena after attempting to rob a woman. The two men, riding a scooter, attempted to steal a woman's purse. However, they were promptly stopped by a Carabinieri patrol car and taken to the station for identification. The incident occurred late yesterday afternoon in Piazza Caduti Civili in Brescia's Pastena neighborhood. Their attempted theft, however, did not go unnoticed by a Carabinieri patrol car in the area, which, within seconds, stopped the scooter (an unlicensed Liberty) and managed to apprehend the two thieves. They were then taken to the station for identification and reporting to the judicial authorities.
