The Teatro Lendi in via A. Volta 176 (provincial road Frattamaggiore-Sant'Arprino) returns to Naples, at the Gran Caffè Gambrinus, and, as per tradition, presents its new season in one of the ten historic bars in Italy. A season that is becoming increasingly important and full of events with names from the national scene. With Francesco Scarano, director of the theater, the season was presented to the press by Peppe Barra, Lello Marangio, Ida Rendano, Francesca Marini, Ciro Esposito.
“The idea remains to make the Teatro Lendi grow more and more and to make it a point of reference in a territory that needs, hungers and thirsts for culture – says Francesco Scarano –. I have been involved in this project for ten years. It is not easy to build credibility in artistic circles. I try every day, with great commitment, passion and love for what I have chosen as a job. Seeing a program that, show after show, thanks to the help of agents and the enthusiasm of artists, takes shape, is a strong and true emotion. On the occasion of each “premiere”, I watch the show from the back of the theater. A perspective that allows me to capture together the beauty of the stage and of what is happening at that moment, and the reactions of the audience. Observing an audience that is increasingly full and increasingly enthusiastic is a great satisfaction. The historical subscribers have a right of pre-emption until September 14. I owe the success of the theater and of my choices to them”.
Eleven subscription shows (with three performances), plus the eagerly awaited appointment with Massimo Ranieri, who arrives at Lendi with a stop on the 2020 tour “Sogno e son desto 500 volte” (February 20 and 21). A new exciting journey through timeless songs, funny sketches and unpublished stories enclosed in a unique, light and sophisticated, overwhelming and moving show, which never ceases to conquer the audience, captured in two and a half hours of performance by the storytelling enchantment and magical atmosphere created by the artist. He will be accompanied by the Orchestra formed by Andrea Pistilli (guitar), Flavio Mazzocchi (piano), Pierpaolo Ranieri (bass), Marco Rovinelli (drums), Donato Sensini (wind instruments), Stefano Indino (accordion), Tony Puja (guitar) and the tip-tap Maestro Giorgio De Bortoli. General organizer of the show Marco De Antoniis, light designer Maurizio Fabretti.
