The sold-out event on Friday, July 5th at 9:00 PM at the Arena del Fuenti in Vietri sul Mare, which features award-winning actor Toni Servillo in "Servillo Legge Napoli" (Servillo Reads Naples) in the "Passaggio a Sud-Ovest" series, is now sold out. Servillo, winner of five David di Donatello Awards, four Nastro d'Oro Awards, three Ciak d'Oro Awards, and two European Film Awards, not to mention the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film awarded to Paolo Sorrentino's "The Great Beauty," in which he played the starring role, to name just a few of the numerous accolades he's received throughout his career, presents audiences with a heartfelt tribute to Neapolitan culture, which the actor makes unique, immersing himself in the words of ten poets and writers who knew Naples well, both physically and emotionally. And here, in the Teatri Uniti production, the great classics of the twentieth century are revived, as well as contemporary authors: Salvatore Di Giacomo, Eduardo de Filippo, Ferdinando Russo, Raffaele Viviani, Mimmo Borrelli, Enzo Moscato, Maurizio De Giovanni, Giuseppe Montesano, Antonio De Curtis, and Michele Sovente. The "Passaggio a Sud-Ovest" series bears the signatures of two artistic directors: Peppe Servillo and Michelangelo Busco.
