“On Tuesday 9 July at 18,00:XNUMX pm we will be present at the Vallone dei Mulini in Sorrento to take part in the protest organized by the city councilor Paolo Esposito in defense of one of the most evocative places on the entire peninsula. The protest was created to ask for clarity regarding the interventions that are being carried out inside the valley. We are talking about a real landscape treasure and maximum transparency is necessary”. This was stated by the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli. Other representatives of culture and associations will also take part in the protest, such as the local head of the Vas Onlus association Salvatore Caccaviello, the head of the WWF Claudio d'Esposito, the geologist prof. Riccardo Canniparoli and Rosario Sorrentino, regional representative of the Association against Mafia and Corruption. “Our protest – explains Paolo Esposito – is absolutely not against the owners of the Vallone. All we ask for is clarity. The municipality has nothing other than a Scia. However, work has already begun inside the valley with a large construction area. We need to know what interventions are involved and how they will impact the entire valley. We ask that all documents and authorizations be made known”.
