One of the most popular festivals in Cilento, Giovivendo, returns on Saturday 27 July to Abatemarco (SA), this year in its tenth edition.
Guest of the evening, one of the most admired and controversial characters on the Italian scene: Edda.
Stefano Rampoldi, aka Edda, began his artistic career in the late 80s as the singer of Ritmo Tribale, a historic Italian rock band with which he made five albums and graced the stages giving hundreds of concerts.
After thirteen years away from the scene, in 2009 Edda returned with her first solo album, “Semper Biot”, a debut acclaimed by critics.
Among the illustrious guests present on the album, above all, Vinicio Capossela and Manuel Agnelli of Afterhours.
“Semper Biot” was followed by 4 albums, strong and desperate, full of suggestions, spirituality and provocations, and extremely appreciated by critics.
Over the years, Edda has been nominated twice for the Tenco Award as “Best Album of the Year”.
The latest work, “Fru Fru”, will be released on February 22, 2019 for Woodworm Label.
Opening Edda's concert were four singer-songwriters from Campania: Zerella, Giuseppe Pagliarulo, Spina and Martino Adriani.
Also this year, in collaboration with Equinozio D'autunno, Giovivendo will start at 20:30 pm, in Abatemarco (municipality of Montano Antilia), in Piazza Padre Rocco Serra.
