From quality live music to a great fireworks display, a rich program of events organized by the Festa Committee with the patronage of the Municipality of Montefalcione on the occasion of the festival dedicated to the Patron Saints Sant'Antonio and Santa Lucia. Tomorrow (Friday 23) and Saturday 24 August there will be "the festival within the festival", namely Patronalis Street Fest, a musical festival under the artistic direction of Roberto D'Agnese, which will see high-quality bands take to the stage in Montefalcione. Raising the curtain on Patronalis Street Fest on August 23 at 21 pm will be the groups One for Peace, Noisy Sax and SS91 who will play from Piazza Monastero and along via Cardinal Dell'Olio. From the homage to Mannarino, Jovanotti, Bandabardò, Afterhours and others, of SS91 to the elegant sound of the Noisy Sax quintet, a first evening for all tastes, to then move on to Dissonanthika on August 23, with a transformation of ancient music, up to the Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare, highly anticipated guests of the event.
The days of August 25 and 26 will be dedicated to the celebration of Sant'Antonio and Santa Lucia with religious rites, processions and fireworks displays for which Montefalcione is famous throughout Italy. During these two days, Maestro Pasquale Aiezza of the City of Martina Franca will pay homage to the celebrations with the Gran Concerto Bandistico “Fumarola” and a symphonic opera show. On August 27, the program of events will close with “MOF National – Montefalcione Oppidum Fireworks”, the pyrotechnic competition that will take place for the second year to enhance the art of pyrotechnics. In this edition, two pyrotechnic companies from Campania and two from Sicily will participate, competing, performing with fireworks, to win the MOF trophy.
