Frightened by the screams of the owners of the villa he was trying to burgle, he ended up in the arms of the Carabinieri and then in handcuffs. It happened in Aversa, where a very young burglar, a 16-year-old Serbian of Roma ethnicity, was arrested for theft. The teenager, along with an accomplice armed with a knife, attempted to force open the front door of a villa in the central Piazza Mazzini. The attempt was unsuccessful, as the screams of those inside the house convinced the thieves to desist and flee. However, the escape was quickly ended by the arrival of the Carabinieri of the Aversa Company, immediately alerted by the homeowners. The 16-year-old was thus apprehended, while his accomplice managed to escape and is still wanted. The young thief, from the Roma settlement of Casoria, was then taken, by order of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, to the First Reception Center in Naples.
